Active Release Technique (ART®) Examination & Treatment

Active Release Techniques (ART) is the "Gold Standard" of soft-tissue care, includes over 500 advanced techniques specifically designed to treat injured muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves and is considered one of the most effective forms of treatment for repetitive-motion injuries.
Dr. Dave Doiron, DC is one of a select few Maine professional providers who've achieved advanced certification as an ART® Provider - and you'll find Dr. Dave at Athlete's Touch on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

ART® has been known throughout the injury rehabilitation and professional sports worlds for years as being an excellent tool for rehabilitation and athletic performance enhancement. In fact, numerous Olympic and professional athletes give credit to ART® for helping them recover from injury, stay injury free and improve their athletic performance.  ART® sessions involve examination and specific targeted treatment, with the main goal of reestablishing proper motion between muscles and fascia while reducing fibrous adhesions.

Active Release Technique (ART®) plus 30-Minute Sports Massage

Receive a 30-Minute ART® Exam & Treatment with Dr. Dave, followed immediately by a 30-Minute Sports Massage to support and reinforce the  ART® Treatment.
